Nicholas Love is an impact professional and has been throughout the duration of his career. A firm believer in the theory that we are shaped by the experiences that we have in life, Love has absorbed information from some of the most prestigious companies in their respective fields. As a 23-year-old, Nicholas took his talents from Grambling, LA to Bristol, Connecticut to join an emerging team serving as both a digital editor and talent within ESPN’s Digital Media department. While at ESPN, Love wrote, produced and edited his own video clips. His signature Power Ranking’s series served as the first iteration of the department’s ability to extend the conversation of it’s owned properties into the palm of users hands. Nicholas’s ability to tell a story was on full display as he championed the departments Black History Coverage in 2008.
In 2009, Nicholas transitioned his distinctive skill set to one of the most recognized women’s basketball programs in the nation as he joined former WNBA great Teresa Weatherspoon’s staff as the Director of Basketball Operations at Louisiana Tech. Love’s outside-the-box thinking immediately was on display as he began to implement multiple social media strategies that enabled the brand to increase its visibility across the national landscape in an effort to land recruits.
Stints with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and The Ohio State University and NC State provided Nicholas with the opportunity to launch into deploying social media strategies on a global scale. He’s best described as a passionate, innovate and creative thinker who has the ability to build relationships and bring out the best in people and products. An entrepreneur at heart, The Social MVP marks Love’s second business launch. As the CEO of The Social MVP, Nicholas fundamentally believes that ideas are better when they compete and has fostered a culture that reflects this belief. Love has made speaking appearances at SXSW, Social Media Strategies Summit and the Now You Know Conference sponsored by Brandwatch. Nicholas is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Incorporated.
Nicholas is a benefit to anyone looking for a big strategic thinker who can get things done.Marcus Jung
